Johann Zahn Story
Johann Zahn was born in March 1641 and died in June 1707. Zahn was considered as the first photographer who invented camera in 1685.
Throughout his life, he produced many books to spread his idea about camera. Among his famous books are Oculus Artificialis Teledioptricus Sive Telescopium and Specula Physico-Mathematico-Historica Notabilium ac Mirabilium Sciendorum.
The first camera made by Zahn in 1685 was small and portable enough to be practical for photography. He also demonstrated the use of mirrors and lenses to erect the image, enlarge and focus it.
