Christiaan Huygnes Story
Christiaan Huygnes was born in April 1629 and died on July 1695 in the Hague, Netherlands.
He began his early education at home under private tutor. He continued his study in the University of Leiden to study law and maths. His early publications focused on mathematical problems and in 1654 he turned his attention to the telescope.
His greatest invention is the invention of the first pendulum clock in 1658, with an error of less than one minute a day. He went on to refine his clock and ultimately limiting errors to less than ten seconds over twenty four hours.
